“My Castle” is the feature-length debut of Writer / Director, David Anthony. David has produced and directed music videos for spastic metal band, Iwrestledabearonce and penned an upcoming feature for Producer / Director, Trent Haaga (“CHOP”, “Deadgirl”).

“This is not a comedy or some sort of ‘ironic’ film”, said David, ” It is a dark, gritty, mind-bending horror story that draws heavily on the influences of foreign masters like Takashi Miike, Gaspar Noe, and early Michele Saovi. ‘My Castle’ is an angry exploration of relationships, sex, and brutality that will likely push even some seasoned horror fans beyond their thresholds.”

What really makes this movie unique was the approach to its production. The producers confined themselves to technology of the era, shooting entirely on Super 16mm film and using only practical special effects.

The film follows an outlaw motorcycle gang known as “The Impalers” as they wind down a tri-state rape and murder spree. After a gruesome battle with rival club, “Satan’s Own”, the survivors hole up in a secluded cabin in the North Georgia Mountains. Taking advantage of what seems like easy marks for their depravity, the rough and tough Impalers soon find themselves struggling to survive the flesh-eating killing machine that lives in the forest.
